In-house 3D/CBCT imaging maps the anatomy before the case begins, 3D surgical planning turns those scans into a precise operative plan, and surgeon-administered in-office IV anesthesia keeps your patient comfortable under the care of the same surgeon performing the procedure. Together these mean complex cases are completed here rather than referred onward.
Credentials & case range
Dr. Janette is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the AAOMS. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Northwestern, training across facial reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, facial trauma, anesthesia, bone grafting, and implant placement. He has practiced privately since 1998 and has served San Luis Obispo since 2003.
The practice welcomes the full surgical range: impacted and surgical extractions, dental implants including cases complicated by bone loss or a failed prior implant, bone grafting, impacted canine exposure, orthognathic and jaw surgery, oral pathology and biopsy, and patients who need IV anesthesia or simply feel anxious about surgery.
Dr. Janette performs the surgical placement and then coordinates the restorative phase back to you, or to the patient’s own dentist, so the case is finished the way you planned it.
How a referral works
Submit a case through the online referral form. Attach records, X-rays, or scans, and flag the urgency. You’ll receive an acknowledgment that we’ve got it. From there, we coordinate scheduling with your patient, keep you informed through the surgical episode, and return the patient to you for ongoing care.
